Picasso Villas is a set of 2 sister villas, named after the famous artist and his daughter, sharing a half FIFA certified football pitch which is used both for games as well as weddings, birthdays and other events. Located close to Bang Tao beach in a quiet natural environment, Picasso Villas is the ideal grop getaway offering plenty of private spaces as well as area where the group can share meals and quality time.
Villa Pablo is themed with memorabilia which include dining chairs upholstered with a rare collection of signed original player shirts by Pele, Maradona and Beckham as well as rare photographs.
Villa Paloma on the other hand is a truly stylish and unique villa inspired by the Hollywood legend Jayne Mansfield. This villa oozes 1950s chic and retro cool mood and feel. The staircase entire wall space is adorned with Jane Mansfield's actual movie posters arranged exactly as she had them at her Pink Palace in Hollywood and the upper floor landing features her original 1950s sofa set and mannequinned clothing giving a reminder of the classy actress.
Both villas are designed in a modern minimalist yet functional style at every level with quality of material and space in mind. The large folding windows in the ground floor living area give plenty of natural light and open onto the pool and the beautiful views of the surrounding nature.
The chef's kitchen and its open plan on the ground floor is the ideal place to entertain guests and family and share meals indoors or al fresco by the pool with a BBQ prepared by the Villa Team. A personal chef using local fresh market produce can be arranged on request, or one could opt for an in-house Thai cooking class.
Each villa has four bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathroom. Two twin—beds guest rooms are on the ground floor and 2 master suites with King-size beds on the upper level which both include a bathtub and a natural outlook to the tree tops. All the master suites are decorated with Picasso prints and open out onto their own private sun terraces. Finally, each villa has a 5th bedroom accommodating 2 additional guests in queen-size beds, also has its own en-suite bathroom with shower (the bedroom is accessible from outside the villa).
The service to guests staying at Villa Picasso only equals its facilities. Besides the daily care, the team at the villa is here to arrange all details of a holiday for children and adults alike so everyone fill their day with as much activities or more relaxing health & spa treatments.
A unique football pitch
Picasso Villas boasts a private FIFA approved mini-football 5-a-side pitch complete with floodlights where professional coaching and training can be arranged. The high walls of this expansive private entertainment space have been wonderfully defaced with original tribal graffiti courtesy of Cece Nobre, Bangkok’s tribal answer to Jean-Michel Basquiat.
The 18m x 38m grassed open space also doubles as a venue for birthdays, weddings and team building functions.
The building (the bricks and mortar) can be owned by a non-Thai national outright in their name in what is called the house registry which secures ownership indefinitely of the structure.
In Thailand, non-Thai nationals cannot own land outright in their name. Land can be controlled through either a Thai Company or a long-term registered lease. The longest registered lease term by Thai law is 30 years, and most developers will offer 3 terms for a total of 90 years.
After you have found the right property at Picasso Villa you have to follow these steps:
A 30-year lease period is legally protected under Thai law and ownership cannot be disrupted. It is common for developers to offer an additional two terms of 30 contractually obligating a total of 90 years.
Prior to purchasing a leasehold property, it is important to secure a copy of the lease agreement or get further clarity on these three points.
Thailand has different visas like Spousal Visa, Retirement Visa, Student Visa and Elite Visa - just to name a few options. Each visa has different requirements but they are usually easy to obtain.
