Foreigners can own a condominium Freehold in their own name. Condominium ownership is best explained by looking at an example of a project that has 100 units for sale.

In this example, 49 of the total units in this building (or 49% of the total salable area) can be owned outright by non-thai nationals in their name.  The ownership titles of these 49 units is referred to as Freehold or Foreign Quota.

This leaves 51 units remaining in the building (or 51% of the total salable). The freehold rights to these units are reserved for Thai nationals in what is commonly referred to as the Thai quota.

A luxury condo that is conducive to travel
James Chan, Singapore, 3 years ago
I must say that this condo is comfortable, fully furnished. The project atmosphere is shady, and there is also a large swimming pool, but the fitness center doesn't have many types of equipment. In addition, the condo is surrounded by famous department stores, such as EmQuartier and The Emporium. Also, On Nut BTS is a few hundred meters from the condo. It suits my lifestyle very much. Unfortunately, the rooms here only have 1 bedroom and 1 bedroom plus to choose from, which are not suitable for living with family.
5 min away from BTS Onnut - very quite soi
Verified Visitor, 4 years ago
This project is in a very quiet street with low traffic. 7 minutes walk to BTS onnut, with all the facilities and shopping to your needs. On the entrance of this street their is Phyllis mall which offer some basic daily necessities. The condo itself is small and suitable for singles. Standard fittings and materials, nothing special. Ideal for people with a small budget and use the BTS daily
